Birth of UNI WORLD Bangladesh

In December 2011, our first directly managed factory, UNIWORLD BD LTD. was established in a rural city in southwestern Bangladesh.
UNIWORLD BD was the first foreign investment in Bangladesh, and as the first sewing factory in the region, it has contributed to the creation of new employment opportunities.
Bangladesh is home to a large number of spinning and weaving factories that have introduced the latest machinery from Japan, Europe, and the United States, creating a favorable environment for procuring materials. Blessed with an abundant labor force (total population of 152.5 million), coupled with a hardworking population, further economic development is expected.

A New Production Base

At UNI WORLD BD, we educate new hires from the very beginning, starting with a sense of purpose in “working,” the basic rules of working for a company, and how to approach work. This is nothing short of an effort to maximize the pure and earnest qualities inherent in the Bangladeshi people and to realize excellent product manufacturing. We are committed to “Japan quality” in all aspects of manufacturing, from material selection and management to sewing, finishing, and inspection, as well as employee training. We produce and ship a variety of products such as cotton military gloves, cotton footwear, smooth gloves, arm covers, aprons, and blouses for the Japanese market.
